Politicians In U.S. takes Support Of Social Networking Sites for Campaigns

The social networking sites have become a great launch pad for the political campaign among the American politicians. The famous social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube are used by candidates to seek more support. It was a time when gaining more mass during campaigns required lot of news coverage or advertising but not now. It started in 2008 when Barrack Obama showed great interest in social networking sites for his own expansion. Obama had more Facebook friends and fans than his counterparts almost 3 million in number, John McCain on the other hand mere 600,000.

The 2012 U.S. presidential campaign will be more social network oriented. Whether it is about Obama's visit to giant like Facebook or his next political move through a video on YouTube, social networking has become now the need of the hour.
