This woman wrote about the 25 different ways to view what social networking is. The list includes things such at the friendship perspective and the youth perspective but also include things like the sex perspective and the anti-social perspective.

This is a pretty extensive list and definitely worth taking a peak at. Once you do, I'd appreciate if you'd come back here and tell me what perspectives you use on the Internet and also which perspectives interest you. Maybe you'll see something on the list you've never thought of but would like to experience.

The Internet is full of all kinds of people with all different kinds of views on life. Of course, there would be just as many different ways to use and view a media such as social networking. There are probably many more than 25 perspective, but this is a rather well thought out list that covers a lot of ground.
