YeeYoo's parent company, eFriends.net, also the owners of a mobile phone dating service (mobile phone dating is more Popular in Asian countries), was purchased by Meetic, a popular French dating site.

The purchase price of $25M comes from money they collected during their IPO in 2005. No word on whether or not the $2.8M eFriends.net made last year puts them in a profitable state.
