I'm not going to list all fifty new features here, but I wanted to discuss how Digg has really turned itself into it's own little social networking site, not more than ever. After watching the Digg profile launch video I'm really excited about this new upgrade that Digg has launched.




One of the new features is the ability to send "Shouts" to your friends. This is a way of sharing stories you liked on the Net with your friends. "Shouts" that you send to your friends will show up on your friend's profile page.

Another is "Favorites". When you add a favorite it'll show up right at the top of your page followed by your most recent activity. "Shouts" and comments will also show up on your profile page. Your friends activity will also show up on your profile so you can see what they've done.
