If you're a high school athlete, or the parent of a high school athlete, and you're looking to be recruited by a college, try out beRecruited. When you, the athlete, signs up with beRecruited you start out by creating your own user profile.

Your profile should include things like who you are, which school you go to, what sport you play, what kind of grades you get, your potential major, and any other information a recruiter may be looking for. Essentially, you need to explain in your profile, why the recruiter should choose you over all the other athletes in your sport they have to choose from.

Add photos and videos of you playing your sport. Let the recruiters see you play or see what you look like. Keep a blog and use the blog as a place to post your successes and accomplishments. Post about your games or races and let potential colleges know more about you.

Search through the colleges and teams who are signed up on beRecruited. Find out more about them. You'll learn what the tuition is for that particular college and what AGPA they accept, among other things.
