British Government Halts Facebook Advertising

THE GUARDIAN - Aug 7 - The British Government's advertising body, the Central Office of Information ( COI), has suspended advertising on all sites where its campaigns could end up on user-generated pages. COI, which has one of the largest advertising budgets in Britain with £22.5m alone spent annually on digital media, has received the assurances necessary to resume advertising from Bebo and MySpace, but not Facebook.
