Busy Tonight: Crawling, Indexing and Structuring Event Data
Busy Tonight is an event search engine. Unlike the other event search engines, Busy Tonight's main focus is building their index of event listings from local websites. As of November last year, they had indexed over 10,000 events from NYC sites. They then present the events in a very google-like display format:

According to their blog, they are ready to go nationwide shortly.
