Connect in Silicon Valley
If you live or work in Silicon valley then this social networking site is made just for you. Using a virtual map you can go anywhere in Silicon Valley and claim where you live or where you work as yours. Then you create your own FatDoor profile for your house or business.
Your neighbors can then see what services your business offers, what clubs you belong to and what events you're attending. You can see who your neighbors are before you meet them, and find out more about the ones you already know.
This is so cool, I wish they had one in my area. On the other hand it could be kind of scary to have everyone know who you are, from a safety standpoint. In a perfect world this would be a perfect tool. But in our world, well, who knows who's watching.
