Could Social Networking Be More Popular Than Porn?

Laura Alter's Blog says that social networking may be more popular than porn on the Net. One of the comments on the post claims that one of the reasons is that people are finding real people on social networking sites instead of looking at models on porn sites. They're still looking at photos but now they're photos sent by the person they may be able to actually meet up with.

I don't know if this is true or not but I do see social networking catching up to the popularity of porn sites. Of course, porn will always be popular, it's human nature, but so many people are interested in connecting with real people that social networking is taking off.
