Couplets.com Attracts Senior Couples, Age 50-plus
PRESS RELEASE – July 11 – In a survey of its membership, Couplets.com, designed exclusively for couples meeting other couples, found 10% are couples age 50+. Of those members responding to the question why, 56% described themselves as "Empty Nesters" or retirees. These findings are in stark contrast with the standard perception of online social networking, based on MySpace, Facebook. I am the President of couplesworldwide.com. It is also a social network exclusively for committed couples wanting to meet similar couples for friendship in their neighborhood and when they travel.
Our research has found that depending on where we advertise or who the target markets are of the articles, blogs etc. writing about us, will directly effect the demographics of our members joining at that time. Contrary to the article, even though we have hundreds of members above 45, the majority of members are not empty nesters.
We have thousands of couples that range in age anywhere from 20 years old to 65. As long as the couple has access to a computer they can join our community. There are couple friends available in our community of any age.
