I am going to attempt to highlight 20 web based event services. Events and
social networks are a natural match. But, noone has developed the killer social networking event online service. In the last few months or so, a lot of new approaches and new companies have surfaced. There are companies changing the way events are planned, marketed, organized and recorded. The pieces are out there and new approaches are surfacing. Who knows what will stick. But, we are certainly seeing the birth of something new that will change the way the web meets the real world.
Disclaimer: I run a company that provides web based event services called WhizSpark.
If you want your service profiled, please send me an email to pcaputa at whizspark dot com.
