Facebook Grows Up
newsweek – Aug 12 – More than half of Facebook's 35 million active users are not college students. By the end of this year, the company predicts that less than 30% of its users will sport college IDs. The site is enjoying a growth rate of 3% a week, but with much of the site still tilted toward student life, can Facebook be as much of a presence in the life of graduates and geezers as it is to college students?
