"Applications are now subject to daily changing (not fun) friend invite (and notifications) limits for their applications based upon several factors." ~FaceReviews
Facebook has now put a limit on the number of friends you can invite to certain applications. Today I added an application called What Kind of Easter Candy Are You and was only allowed to invite three friends. Three! How am I supposed to find out what kind of Easter candy my friends are if I can only invite three friends a day? Tell me!
The bad part of this is that the application is set up to only tell you what kind of Easter candy you are after you've invited 15 friends. That means I'm going to have to come back four more days and fill out the questionnaire and invite friends four more times before I can find out what kind of Easter candy I am.
Not only is this frustrating for people like me, it's even worse for the developers of the Facebook applications. They can't get people to come play their games and add their applications because of this very strict restriction. Three invites per day for five days, how many people are going to go for that?
Application creators like this one may just stop creating applications. The applications they have created are going to die away. Sure, it's not fair to have to be forced to invite 15 friends either, especially if you don't have that many, but this isn't fair either.
