Geni is a family tree that lets you keep in touch with your family. When you enter someone on your family tree you can also add their email address and invite them to join the site. Then you can keep in touch with them and keep them updated on family events.
When you family member joins Geni they can create their own family tree. Their family tree will be added to your family tree and your tree will grow and grow. To see your family member's profile just click on their name in your family tree. You can also add photos to your family tree. Only the people in your family tree can see your profile, no one else.
You choose the way you want your family tree viewed. Choose photos only view to see all the happy, Shining faces of your family members or names only to just see who's listed. If you only want to see ancestors and descendants on your family tree you can set it up that way, or you can see everyone who's listed.
