Friendly Advertising
If you were at your friend's social networking profile and you saw that they had an ad in their profile with a personal blurb written by your friend about how great the product is, would you be more likely to click on the ad and see what its' all about than you would an ad that was just placed on the page?

Advertisers seem to think you would and are trying it out. They want to advertise on people's social networking profiles. Would you let companies advertise on your profile?

"64% of social networking consumers trust information from friends and will visit other sites to confirm what they have read on a friendly site." ~Biz Report (Apr 25)
