Get Local Information With YouGetIt.com
When you go to the YouGetIt.com homepage you are first asked to enter your zip code. It may already be on the screen, but if you want to change the zip code that's showing do so.
Once you have your zip code entered you'll be taken to a page where you can see all kinds of local events. There's, of course, local weather. There's also local classifieds, local news, local auctions, and local people that you can meet. Other local things you can see on YouGetIt.com are: traffic, events, businesses, hotels, coupons, talents, sports and videos.
This social networking site it fairly new. There's no one on YouGetIt.com that is close to me right now. The closest was about 30 miles away. I like it though. There's a lot to do and a lot to read through. Every category has many different subcategories.
If you have local news you want to report, you can post it here. Just find the category it goes under and add it. On the flip side, you can read news and events that other local people have posted too.
