Google Helps Track Offenders
"Google agrees to help Indian police track offenders on social networking site". This is the title of an article written by TG Daily on Mar 13 .

The article describes how Google is helping Indian police find people who "glorify the actions of dangerous mob leaders in the city, as well as those posting "anti-Indian" content such as pictures of the Indian national flag being burned". Orkut is going to give the Mumbai police the IP address' of anyone who posts an "objectionable message or blog" from their country. All these things are illegal there.

The question this article asks is, is Google helping aid in internet censorship or just doing their civic duty?
