Google Relaunches Blogger In Beta

After receiving numerous complaints, suggestions and comments regarding what features users would love to see in their blog*spot weblogs, Google's Blogger team has finally responded by including not only categories within their blogs, but a host of other features as well.

(From Blogger Buzz) Today we're launching a new version of Blogger in beta! You've been asking for ways to do more with your blog, and you can with this new release. With the beta you can:

Take a look at the tour to see all the new things you can do (well, a lot of the new things … they didn't all fit in the tour).

Blogger has included a number of useful features, especially for those who are not gifted in the realm of HTML. Users lacking web knowledge can adjust their background colors…

…add extra features to their Sidebar

…and even rearrange the order of their sidebar with little effort.

For those seeking customization of their templates, blogger does not currently allow this, although they are promising to release this pretty soon.

The beta is being rolled out to a small number of users (so that the server does not crash) but users can sign up and test drive the new features by visiting Beta.blogger.com.
