Hiring Done Online
"Blogging and social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace and LinkedIn are changing the face of how HR will recruit candidates in future" ~Personneltoday.com (Aug 7)

Human resource departments around the world are starting to use social networking to hire people. They're searching blogs and social networking sites to find out more about potential hires. Sometimes they find what they're looking for on your site, this can either make or break your chances of landing the job of your dreams.

On top of searching the Net for information about potential hires, some companies are using social networking tools to make their hiring process easier for them and for you. Soon you'll be able to communicate with the HR department of a potential job right from their Web site. Apply for a job, send a resume and ask questions.

People who are already employees will also have access to this tool. From there they'll be able to chat with each other or with the HR department if they need to.
