How Social Networking is Like Truck Drivers
I was driving down the road the one night when I saw this one tractor trailer having trouble getting through this dark intersection. Then I noticed the truck next to him slow down almost as if to wait for him. Then I remembered my preteen years when my dad when through his truck driving phase and what it was like to talk on the CB radios.

Then it hit me. Truck drivers have their own social network going on. When I saw the one truck slow down for the other truck he may have been on the CB with him right that second asking if the other truck needed help. Truck drivers are like that, always ready to help their fellow truck drivers. It's like their own secret club, or social network.

They are not networking online, but they are connecting and communicating. They meet new friends everyday and hardly ever meet them face to face. Just like Online Social Networking.
