Identity 2.0

Yahoo! is determined to own every social site out there, I guess. Now Webjay is gone too.

I've been thinking alot about Identity 2.0 and I've decided that Yahoo! is going to be the driver. They'll buy up everywhere online you can actually have a login, centralize it, and allow everyone to get to everywhere you want to go, by Logging into the Yahoo! site and then choosing your location.

It'll be one gigantic portal, complete with Gawker news, flickr pics, Webjay music, Yahoo! podcast search and del.icio.us tags. Hey, maybe they'll get to use that blogsearch they've buried in the news feature?

Maybe they'll add an RSS feed that simply lists their newest acquisitions. I'm sure they'd gain some serious subscribers to that one.
