Increase Your Site’s Traffic With Friends
You have your profile page and your blog all set and running smoothly but no one is coming and reading all the cool stuff you're writing, what do you do? Well you could start by making some friends. Browse the network and find other people who like the same things you like and ask them to add you as a friend.
Next, go to sites like Technorati and Bloglines. Find other blogs that are about the same thing your blog is about. Post comments on the blogs with a link back to your site from your signature line.
Add a link to the blogs you post comments on and then ask them to link back to you. Now you have a network started and you have made some new friends in the process. This should help you get some traffic started.
