Interview w/ Flagr Founder

What is Flagr :: Sharewhere? Flagr.com allows you to bookmark physical locations online or right from your mobile phone. Put simply, we're Del.icio.us for the real world. Stumble upon a killer burrito joint? "Flag" it by sending a simple SMS and show the world where it is.
Who is your average user?
Travel lovers seeking cool things around them and around the world...(and people who love burritos of course).
What value are you providing them?
Most everyone you know is constantly exploring, forming opinions as they go about their day. Flagr allows you to tap into this information. Whether it is a movie theater with extra comfortable seats, a cheap sushi joint, or a place to stock up on cheap Moleskine notebooks, your friends' recent whereabouts are at your fingertips. Flagr also offers a way to track your own past explorations as well as meet people who frequent your favorite places.
How do you generate revenue?
Because we know a lot about our users (where they go, where their friends go, what they're looking for, and what they're interested in) we have the ability to serve targeted and location-sensitive ads. Soon, we'll be rolling out a location aware advertising system that will deliver ads based on where the user is looking on the map. As the user explores, new ads will appear, showing local businesses that they may find useful. The goal is to make the ads so relevant, they're no longer ads.
