Keep Your Family Updated
If you have a large family or family members that are scattered all over the place you can use social networking to keep in touch and keep them all up to date. I like to do this myself. I upload photos of my kids, add descriptions of each photo and create a story out of them. Then I send a mass email to my family members and close friends so they can see what's going on in our lives.
There are some sites out there specifically for this need. If you create a social networking site with sites like Famster.com and TheFamilyPost.com you can share your photos privately and keep your family up to date on what's going on in your life.
