Kids Talk About Education the Most
I'm not really sure I believe this study by the National School Boards Association and Grunwald Associates LLC. It reports that kids who are on social networking sites talk about educational topics while texting, messaging, chatting or blogging. I know some kids do, the ones that care about school. What about the rest of them?

"Nearly 60 percent of online students report discussing education-related topics such as college or college planning, learning outside of school, and careers. And 50 percent of online students say they talk specifically about schoolwork."

I wish we had all this technology when I was in school. The ability to ask your friends for homework help or to look things up online. Chatting is a big help too. Keeping a homework group on your social networking site would be cool too. I can see how social networking can help you with schoolwork in so many ways. I just don't believe that's what kids are doing there.
