A while ago the military started disallowing soldiers the use of social networks. The reasons, they say, were due to bandwidth and posted content. But soldiers and other service members still want a way to communicate with loved ones back home. This is where Military Planet comes in.
Military Planet is designed in such a way that it's safe for members of the military to communicate with their friends and family at home. From each military service members home page each can choose which branch of the service they're in. Then they can choose the unit or duty station they belong to. Now they can finish creating their own personalized profile.
After they create their profile they can add their rank, title, home port and more to it. Then they can communicate with their families.
