LinkedIn Users are Rich (or at Least Well Off)

TechCrunch reported last week on a study of Business networking site LinkedIn that verifies what most people already knew – that LinkedIn users make more money.

LinkedIn is the leading social network site focused on business relationships. According to TechCrunch:

Nearly 60% of users have incomes of $93,000 or more. Executives with an average income of $104,000 make up 28% of the 2,000 random users polled for the study. Another 30% are self-identified "consultants" with an average income of $93,000.

The financial standing of its users evidently isn't providing LinkedIn with much of a buffer against the recession. TechCrunch reported on the same day that LinkedIn was Laying Off 10% of its staff.
