Loss of College Degree, Because of a Picture
This is the sort of thing that makes me angry. This poor girl worked hard, took all her classes and earned her degree. When the time came to get her degree from millersville university of Pennsylvania they denied it to her based on a picture she posted on her own personal Web site.

"university officials found a picture of Snyder sipping from a plastic cup and wearing a pirate cap. Beneath the picture were the words: "Drunken Pirate." The results were life-changing." ~Online Universities Weblog (apr 30)

This is just wrong. If she took the classes and earned the credits then there's no way the college should have the right to deny her the degree she earned just because of a picture. A harmless picture at that. What people do outside of school or work shouldn't have an bearing on their ability to succeed.
