Love MySpace?

8. Learning to tweak HTML code is a great thing. I recommend it for all you out there who want to create social networking profiles that really speak to the reader. By all means, copy and paste some code from another Web site, but then, make it your own. Change the colors, the fonts
, and anything else about the code that's not perfect for you and your site.To learn to tweak the code you first need to copy and paste it into your MySpace profile, and save. Then go back in and change one thing, save, look at it and see what changed. If you don't like it, change it back and try something else. Do this with each part of the code that's modifyable. Before long you'll be a regular HTML guru.
7. I, personally, have not been able to find any good groups on MySpace. They all seem to either be full of spammers or the members never communicate with the group.
6. It's true that you can meet some fascinating people on MySpace, but most of the people will either want to talk your ear off or never contact you at all. Choose your friends carefully, there's a lot of fakes and weirdos out there too.
5. MySpace does let you add just about anything to your MySpace profile, but you need to know how to find and use the code first. MySpace doesn't make it easy for beginners to instantly know where to get the code or how to add it.
4. I love the MySpace blog. I especially like when one of my friends posts something to their blog and I'm notified.
3. Finding old friends or keeping up with new ones is really what MySpace is all about anyway. Seeing what people look like and reading about their lives is one of the best things about MySpace.
2. Sure you can embelish who you really are on MySpace, but why would you want to. The more you lie, the more you have to lie. Before you know it, you're caught in the Web. How can you make friends if you don't tell them who you really are? Try it.
1. I have found only a handful of old friends from high school on MySpace. MySpace is the best place to find old friends on the Net, except maybe Classmates.com, but you have to pay to use them. I still hope in the future to find more friends on MySpace, once everyone has computers.
