I saw that quote recently in a Mashable piece on social marketing and it slapped me in the face. In a year and some months I'll be 50. I may use my computer a whole bunch, but I'm an immigrant, not a native, here in the digital world. So that quote clarified for me how the Net itself is evolving along with the students I teach in my school's classroom.
Like everything else in life, marketing is also evolving. And the future of marketing is going to involve "engaging users through social media," according to Kevin Barenblat over at Mashable.
