Meet with Approval: Please Make it Outlook's New Feature
Filed in archive by pete on March 25, 2006

Skobee lets people have a say in the location. There is no place to enter a location in Meet with Approval.
Meet with Approval gives the meeting originator more control over who can do what and who can join the activity.
Skobee lets anyone join the activity and lets anyone suggest times and places.
As a result of these differences and the branding of the sites, I can see using Meet with Approval in order to coordinate meetings and phone calls with 2 others or a small group of predefined people. I see myself using this for work. And I think this would save a lot of back and forth trying to arrange meetings via email. Especially when more than one person is involved. How often does this happen? Not quite often enough for me to use Meet with Approval. Therefore, I'd like to see Meet with Approval functionality built right into Outlook.
I'd use Skobee to coordinate plans with friends because it is too playful for business activities and because it lets my friends invite other friends. Meet with Approval allows this, but Skobee is built better for this. Of course, if Amber invited me to her spice party, I probably wouldn't turn down the invitation.
