More from Kiko
Justin Kan, co-founder of Kiko, sent me the answers to the standard interview questions:

Who is your average user?

Our average user is anyone who wants to easily maintain and share a calendar
online. These people are professionals at a company that doesn't want to
maintain expensive enterprise software, families that want to coordinate a
bunch of schedules, groups of friends, or just individuals who need a great
personal calendar that is always accessible.

What value are you providing them?

We provide the easiest to use calendar on the internet. We've designed the
calendar with simplicity and speed in mind--entering in events is as easy
and selecting an area of the calendar, and typing in "conference call with
Kikolinks". Users can also easily share their calendar online, or through RSS.
Kiko also allows you to manage contacts and get reminders through AIM, SMS,
or email.

How do you generate revenue?

We'll be rolling out Outlook and SyncML synchronization soon, which will
eventually be a subscription feature (although it will be free during the
trial period!). We're also working on an enterprise version of Kiko.

What differentiates Kiko from other calendars?

Kiko is different from other calendars because it brings the familiar
usability of a desktop calendar app to the web. Users can drag and drop
appointments, contacts, and labels. Contacts' calendars are a single-click
away in the interface. Kiko also allows users to pick the view they are most
confortable with: whether its day, week, month, or a dashboard overview.
With Kiko, it's also easy to keep track of many different types of
appointments--a user could use labels to see only his home appointments,
only work appointments, or both!
