MySpace Malware Attack

I found information from the I Got Spam blog about a pretty vicious malware attack you can get just by updating your adobe flash player from a link that appears to be from MySpace. It seems that it begins by you opening an email that looks like it's from MySpace. The email asks that you join MySpace.

When you click on the link you're taken to MySpace, at least the page appears to be a MySpace page. It's a fake page though and instead of having a sign up for MySpace, it asks you to update your Adobe Flash Player instead. When you download the software, you're doomed.

You're now infected with a malware that turns your computer into a zombie. There's more, and it's not pretty. Read more about it on the I Got Spam blog.
