This is a really cool feature, when it works. Someone posts a comment, then someone posts a comment to the comment and so forth. Usually you have to try to figure out who's commenting on which comments. With the nested comment feature you won't have to do that anymore, it'll be obvious.
To me this just looks like individual small forums underneath each post. I like that though.
Now they just need their readers to post thought provoking comments instead of the pointless ones I see on most social networking forums.
