Today, it has 9 million, and much of the explosion in growth has occurred in the past year. Companies can pay for corporate accounts where they get extra benefits, paying $10,000 to $250,000/yr. Membership includes all 500 of the Fortune 500. LinkedIn took a lot longer to build but may be a more enduring and more profitable business in the long run, if it can keep it's monopoly. Where's Plaxo in this picture.
