-Looks like Disney is shopping around for a social networking site and has it's eyes on Friendster. Om says maybe they are bargain hunting.
-MySpace has 10% of the advertising space on the web. John Batelle notes their demographic is very keenly coveted.
-Squidoo launched last week. <--Seth Godin's baby
-Grouper 2.0 also came out last week. With support for the video iPod you have to love it (or tolerate it).

I'm pretty sure most of these are based on fact. Whether or not they will pan out (disney) remains to be seen.
