Now you can find people on Twitter using an online tool called Twellow. twellow will let you search for new contacts by what they're interested in. They've indexed all the Twitter messages into categories so you can search through them and find people that you really want to meet.

Just about any category you can think of is here. Everything from politics and employment to health and family. You may just find some new friends and learn about things you never new from them.

You'll see their actual posts. From there you can decide if it's actually what you're looking for. I think the groupings need to be broken down a little further. There's also a regular search bar on Twellow too. This will help you search when you can't find what you're looking for.
