Second Life User Experience Improving
Filed in archive Second Life by Greg Cruey on September 27, 2009
Chris Abraham has an interesting post on the experience of users (especially new users) in Second Life, and how that experience has improved in the last couple of years.

Abraham left Second Life back in 2007. He compared Twitter and Second Life at the time:
Bottom line, "Twitter is light, cheap, open and permanent, whereas Second Life is heavy, expensive, closed and ephemeral.
His prediction was that Twitter would attract and keep users in a way that Second Life wouldn't.

Abraham recently got invited to a guided tour of Second Life. His impressions were pretty positive, though he still sees problems. You can read abotu his experience here.
