HipMojo.com (Jul 16) asks the question, "what is the shelf life of a social network?"

Who will ultimately win the social networking battle and what will happen to all the other, little, social networking sites?

Right now MySpace and Facebook are the biggies, but I don't see MySpace lasting forever because it's too generic. By this I mean that it offers nothing special to the social networking scene. They're trying with their new MySpace TV and there new MySpace profile editor, but in the end, I just don't think that'll be enough.

So how long will MySpace last? How long will Facebook last? Who will end up on top of the social networking world?
