Should Parents Lay Off College Students?
college students are usually over 18 years old. That makes them adults, right? So why do so many parents still feel the need to pry into their child's life online? Should parents just leave them be or do they still have the right to tell their college age kids what to do?

When kids reach a certain point in their life they want their freedom, need their freedom. By college they've certainly reached that point. If my parents told me what I could and couldn't do in college I'd probably do the opposite. I had the freedom to do what I wanted and I used every opportunity to prove that I was and adult and could handle things myself. Not always a good idea, but it was my choice nonetheless.

Today's kids need their freedom too and that also means online. So, should parents tell their college kids what they can or can't put on their own personal Web sites?
