Single Buddy List?
The Social Degree blog thinks that creating a single buddy list that you can bring from social networking site to social networking site would be a benefit to all and a great time saver.
For this to work you would have to be able to break down your buddy list into groups. Each social networking site would have it's own group. I don't know about you but I have different friends on MySpace than I do on Gather. They're different types of people and so I would need them separated into different buddy lists.
I like the idea though. This way when you join a new social networking site you would be able to see if the friends you already have on other sites are there. You wouldn't have to spend time searching for them.
Do you think a portable buddy list would be a good idea for you?
