Is seems that a lot of photo hosting sites are getting a huge amount of their traffic from social networking sites. Heather Hopkins has a bunch of stats you can look through and says about this:

"Photobucket has held that #1 ranking largely due to traffic from Bebo and MySpace, with 33% of the site's traffic coming from Bebo last week and 22% from MySpace." ~Hitwise (June 28)

This is probably due the way we add photos to MySpace by linking to them on our other photo hosting sites. As we link off our social networking sites to our photos that are hosted elsewhere, people are following those links over to our photo albums.

What do you think this increase in traffic to photo hosting sites from social networking sites is caused by?
