The Blog Herald had a post yesterday on Twitter spam.
Be-a-Magpie will pay you to spam your Twitter followers. Exactly how much your soul is worth depends on the topic and the number of followers you have.
Fortunately, you'll evidently be able to tell when junk tweets arrive:

Fortunately, you'll evidently be able to tell when junk tweets arrive:
Be-A-Magpie does however attach a #magpie hashtag, which should help distinguish those tweeting for pennies from people engaging in real conversations (or at least spam free ones).TechCrunch thinks it's a good way to get your followers to fly the coup.
