Technorati Stealing* Myspace Blog Content
Greg Gershman, the founder of Blogdigger, has written a piece highlighting the confusion that myspace bloggers have about Technorati. Greg points to a myspace blogger, who's a bit pissed off:

I am a bit confused right now. Sweet Surrenderlinks has just told me about technorati.com and how they repost your stuff from myspace on there. I went to look and searched around and she was right! My blogs are on that website, unclaimed, for everyone to take!

They somehow link your blogs to their website and you can find them all there. They post where it comes from but then it asks to claim the blog? WFT!! Why should anyone claim it? What does that even mean? If it was written in my blog, why does it give that option?

I am very upset right now. I went in and typed little quotes here and there from my blogs and I found several matches that are word for word or come close to being word for word. This really makes me mad.

I had been warned about this by someone earlier who says that myspace own and has the rights to everything that you post on here. I guess it's a bit of my fault for not reading the terms and conditions, but this is not fair! It really makes me not want to write on here anymore. I don't really care for my random rants and bs that I write on here, but there are some pieces that really mean a lot to me and now thanks to technorati.com, everyone and anyone can see.

I know they are public and myspacers can read my stuff, I agreed to that. What I didn't agree to was to have another website just come and take all my stuff and post it for the entire world to see. Search for your stuff, but let me tell you that it is best to search by typing parts and pieces of your blogs or search by names. If you have a peculiar name for a blog search it and I am positive that you can find it. I have searched some top bloggers and they are all on there! This enrages me really.

I wonder how pissed this non-myspace-blogosphere-clueless kid will be when he realizes I quoted his post?

*Stealing as in not stealing.
