The New Net Entrepreneurs
Business Week has just published a Special Report named " New Faces for the Net`s New Age ".
It`s remarkable that almost 50% are social media related business. Companies like Yelp, Meebo, Skype, Tagged, Del.icio.us are heading the list. If we have doubts that this business is booming then we have good evidence here.
I´m sure that many people are thinking:
"No Way: This is only another Dot.com Bubble". These are businesses with no proven business models.
With all due respect, things are different now. Let me explain why.
1. It`s more than e-commerce. It`s all about Marketing Innovation.
2. It`s more than advertising. It`s all about redefining the Media Landscape.
3. It`s more than search. It´s all about working and living in a truly Real Time Information Economy.
The race is on and I can´t wait to see who will be the new Global Leader of the so-called Social Media Revolution.
