TheLadders: Matching Recruiters and $100k+ Candidates

Out of nowhere, it seems that The Ladders has created a fast growing network of executives seeking high level jobs.

If I were looking for a gig, I certainly wouldn't want to sort through pizza delivery postions. If I were a recruiter looking for a high level executive, I wouldn't want my position mixed in with pizza delivery positions. More importantly, I wouldn't want to sort through unqualified candidates.

The other nice thing about focussing on higher level positions, the candidates should be able to afford to pay to get their information out there. And The Ladders actually charges for that. Unlike most other job posting sites.

Marc Cenedella, the publisher of The Ladders announced a new milestone on his blog:

Well it seems like just yesterday that we announced RecruitLadder, our site where companies and recruiters can fill their $100K+ jobs at no charge (just so long as it is an open job that pays over $100,000 per year including bonus and commission), had surpassed 10,000 active users.

Well, it seems like just yesterday because it was just last week!:

Jan. 26: More Than 10,000 Recruiters Now Posting Jobs at TheLadders.com

We'd passed it in mid-January, so it was great to check out the numbers this morning and discover that we've now passed 11,000 recruiters actively using TheLadders.com!
