I finally joined Twitter today. I did it because a friend of mine, Deborah Ng, was recently at the Blog World Expo and when she got back she blogged about how much people where talking about Twitter.

She was told that Twitter is a great way to get people to come to your site because once they start following your posts, they'll also want to know more about you. They'll come to your site, realize what a great value it is and tell all their friends about you. At least, this is the theory.

It's also a good place to post about your site. Put up a new article on your site? Twitter about it, link to it. Your followers will love you for it.
