Wallop’s Comment Social Network
Wallop was recently spun out on its own. If I was a blog search engine or social networking site, I'd be concerned with what they have up their sleeves.
Matthew Hurst of Intelliseek is paying attention. He's published a graph of the network of commenters on Wallop. The graph shows the density of commenting in different languages. From this graph, it appears that the Chinese commenters are the most active on the site:
Thomas also presented time series which showed the pick up of Chinese language users over time compared with non-Chinese. Wallop is invitation only. After the first Chinese language blogger was invited, Chinese language bloggers quickly dominated the platform.
