We need a dot blog top level domain.

Why not .blog?

I came up with this idea today when researching domain names for a new automotive blog. Almost every name I came up with was already taken. Many of the sites weren't even automotive related, let alone blogs. For example, www.tenandtwo.com isn't a name referring to the preferred steering wheel hand positions, it's a software company.

A new dot blog top level domain would free up a tremendous number of domain names for us bloggers.
