You make it seem like its a hassle to be in a social network. I personally go on to keep in touch with who im interested in and who messages me. I know of a lot of people who simply go on these social networks to check on pictures and where ppl went on certain night. small things like that. A social network should be fun not an obligation.

I use 8hands- the desktop social aggregator so I don't feel like I'm on 3 networks cause I don't have to log into all of them- 8hands keeps me posted about what's going on.
It definitely saves time.

This was a great article. I had to limit myself to one social networking site called Yuwie. The reason I chose Yuwie is because they pay their members for everything they do on the site.

Have you heard of Obami. It functions like a social networking site but with personal admin tools. At least this way you can keep in touch with friends and sort your own life out too! And you can choose which friends see what! Hope that helps. Mula :)

Agreed! The constant upkeep and energy spent on all these SN sites is ridiculous. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH HOURS IN THE DAY!!! I use Obami. It offers personal admin tools that help me to save time while I still keep in touch with my friends!
